Tubal factor infertility accounts for about 25-30% of all cases of infertility.
Some of the causes are abdominal surgery, Endometriosis and Infections.
Infections may be, but are not necessarily, sexually transmitted (STI). Chlamydia and Gonorrhoea are two common sexually transmitted infections that can cause tubal infertility.
Early diagnosis and treatment is the best prevention!
